Starter Program (ages 6 to 10)
Offered during the daytime and after school.
This beginner’s guitar program teaches young budding musicians the fundamentals of music and guitar in a 12-week program. We’re not just teaching music, we’re raising creative, confident people.
Your child will:
- Learn timing and reading music notes
- Play notes and chords
- Play a selection of well-known songs
- Play along with recorded music
- Play along with the teacher and other students
- Gain an appreciation for music
- Have an outlet for self-expression
- Have increased confidence
- and much more!

$15 per lesson
30 minute lessons for groups of 3
45 minute lessons for groups of 4-6
Lesson book; $20 (including taxes)
Guitar rentals available or bring your own
Guitar Appreciation (ages 4-7)
Offered during the daytime and after school.
This program is for children interested in guitar or playing music in general. It introduces young children to how music notation works as well as how instruments make music using the guitar.
- How notes are made on the guitar
- Fretting and plucking
- Notes vs. Chords
- High sounds and low sounds
- Keeping time
- Parts of the guitar
- Different types of guitars and how they are played
No guitar or book is required. A shared guitar(s) will be provided at each group session.
